Depending on the circumstances, we process information because:
- It is necessary to arrange or provide the service you requested.
- We must comply with a legal obligation.
- It supports legitimate business interests, including record-keeping, safety and resolving complaints.
- You have consented, including when allowing us to publish a photograph.
You may withdraw photographic consent at any time. This will not affect lawful use before withdrawal, but Scruffy Mutts will remove the photograph from channels it controls where reasonably possible.

7. How long information is retained
Appointment, payment and accounting records will normally be retained for up to six years where needed for tax, legal or dispute-resolution purposes, or longer where legally required.
Other contact and dog-care information will be kept only for as long as it remains reasonably necessary to provide services safely. Records will be reviewed and securely destroyed when no longer required.
